Empowering Deaf Society are thrilled to be able to offer a member of your frontline staff a FREE place on a Signature accredited British Sign Language (BSL) level 1 course - British Sign Language Course for Beginners

This is an amazing opportunity for your organisation to become more inclusive and deaf aware, as places on such a course would normally cost over £700. Through learning a range of topics they will be able to meet and greet, understand basic conversation and numbers, give and follow simple directions and so much more in British Sign Language
Our 2 hour online via Zoom weekly evening classes will run every week for a period of 20 weeks and will be taught by our experienced qualified Deaf tutors in a relaxed and friendly class environment.
In this course you will learn to understand and use basic language from everyday situations.
Subjects you will learn include:

2. Using numbers
3. Weather
4. Transport
5. Directions
6. Fingerspelling
7. Basic conversation about your life, family and pets
and much more!
On passing they will also receive a Signature Accredited Qualification Certificate.
